In 2008 we set a goal to make, buy, or receive 365 blankets (i.e., a blanket a day) to give to local Washington, DC charities of our choice. On our site, we shared our progress including photos of our blankets, patterns, and more! There are some plans to keep this site a living, breathing opportunity to give to local charities. In the fall I'll send out an email to see if you are eager to make, buy, and give away another armful of blankets to local DC-area charities.
